Remove the uncertainty of spring with a Envu fall bareground application program

More control, consistency, flexibility & savings

Print page

When it comes to bareground weed control, spring can bring a lot of uncertainties and weather interruptions including variable rainfall patterns, high temperatures and windy conditions.

A strategic shift to fall application timing using Esplanade® 200 SC, Esplanade Sure, Plainview® SC and/or Method® 240SL can enhance your bareground program with more control, consistency, flexibility and savings.

Fall conditions set you up for success

Because of the uncertainties of spring, the more suitable conditions of a fall-timed application of Esplanade based programs have shown to have better herbicide activation and effectiveness.

  • Moisture throughout the winter months activate herbicides before weeds germinate and emerge in the winter and the following spring.
  • Cooler soil temperatures reduce the rate of microbial degradation of some herbicides.
